 Sexual Violence and Domestic Violence Tier One Trainings are back for Summer 2025!
Fairfax County Domestic and Sexual Violence Services and the CCR Prevention and Training Committee are hosting the next round of Tier One trainings in June and July.
What is Tier One training? Tier One trainings are 16-hour introductory trainings on the dynamics of sexual and domestic violence, systems responding in Fairfax County, and resources available in our community for people and families impacted by violence.
Who should attend these trainings? Victim services professionals, health and human service providers, court professionals, volunteers, community leaders, and anyone in the community who wants to learn more about domestic and sexual violence and the systems that respond to them in Fairfax County.
Summer is the only time of year when Tier One trainings are held during traditional business hours and seats fill up quickly, so make sure to sign up soon at the link below!

Sexual Violence Tier One Training
Dates: Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26
Time: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Location: Parkwood Baptist Church, 8726 Braddock Road., Annandale, VA 22003
Description: This introductory training in collaboration with the Fairfax County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) will teach participants to understand how and why sexual violence occurs, systems responding to sexual violence in Fairfax County, and resources available to those impacted by violence in our community.

Domestic Violence Tier One Training
Date: Wednesday, July 9 and Thursday, July 10
Time: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Location: Fairfax Church, 11451 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22030
Description: This introductory training in collaboration with the Fairfax County Domestic Violence Network will teach participants about the dynamics of domestic violence, systems that respond to domestic violence in Fairfax County, and resources available to those impacted by violence in our community.
