A Tennessee jury cleared three former Memphis police officers of all state charges, including second-degree murder, in the fatal beating of a Black motorist that sparked protests across the nation two years ago.

The former Memphis officers are still facing prison time after they were convicted on some federal charges stemming from Tyre Nichols' death.
