School board president paves way to install mayor’s chief of staff as interim CEO of CPS

Board of Education members say Mayor Brandon Johnson’s handpicked school board president Sean Harden is leading an effort to install the mayor’s chief of staff, Cristina Pacione-Zayas, to serve as the interim CEO of Chicago Public Schools.
