James Baker, trailblazing Australian punk drummer, dies

Australian punk rock pioneer James Baker, founding member of The Scientists, Hoodoo Gurus and The Beasts of Bourbon, has died from cancer at age 71.

The iconic indie rockers return late in 2025, playing their first Brisbane and Perth shows in a over a decade.
