Cindy Scheuermann had a keen eye when she quietly snapped a photo of this American Woodcock. "I was out on a drive and I was surprised to find my first ever American Woodcock. I was able to take some photos and a little video of how they dance. It was pretty cool watching him for a while," she tells us. "This is a photo of him scratching an itch, but it looks like he is waving to me."

Player’s other stab at the Top 40, which this scribe remembers most clearly, was This Time I’m in it for Love. Paula Liukkonen knew the band in question was Player, but she pitched I'm Gonna be Alright as the tune that didn’t do as well.

It’s interesting to note that This Time I’m in it for Love gets ample airplay these days on SiriusXM satellite radio’s Breezy Yacht Rock channel.

  TODAY'S TRIVIA

This American band had a massive Top-40 hit in 1974 with Brandy. A follow-up didn’t fare as well. Please name the band and follow-up tune.

Hint: The second song title features two first names, describing how ? Loves ?. Good luck.
