PTA BOARD ELECTIONS

Voting is coming up at our next PTA meeting to be held on May 15, 2025. If you are interested, please let us know which position you’re interested in. You can reach out to Laura Morrow on the Nominating Committee at mrslauramorrow@gmail.com, or any current board member. We are happy to answer any questions!

At our last PTA meeting, we voted to increase the PTA Board to five positions by adding a second Vice President. We have now opened nominations for three positions that will be open on July 1st for the 2025-26 school year:

Vice President #1

Vice President #2

Treasurer

Each position serves a 2-year term, so you must have 2 years remaining at Wolftrap.

General time commitment:

  • Monthly meeting with Board members.
  • Monthly meeting with Board and Administration.
  • Attend PTA meetings.
  • Other miscellaneous duties, including supporting committee chairs, coordinating fundraising efforts, and other ad hoc support as needed.

REFLECTIONS RESULTS!!!

Congratulations to all our Reflections participants!

Last Thursday, May 1st, the Reflections committee held an awards ceremony for all participants, that included an ice cream bar!

We were blown away by the talent, creativity, and hard work shown this year. Wolftrap students shone brightly at every level of the competition. Our first-place winners advanced to the Fairfax County level, where several earned top honors—including two who went on to win!

A special congratulations to Luke Herbeck, who placed 3rd at the State level in the Intermediate Film category!
