Get Ready to Roll
Bike to Work Day is almost here. On May 15, thousands of participants from all over the region can ride up to a pit stop for some breakfast, a collectible t-shirt, and other goodies. The event is free, but make sure to register.

Get your dancing shoes ready for the fifth Arlington Palooza at Lubber Run Community Center. The free event has something for everyone, including live music, food trucks, dance lessons, and animal encounters.

Arlington is a bike-friendly community. Look for and expect bikes as you drive and exit your vehicle to help make our streets safe for everyone.
Flying into the Record Books
Did you know that the first full-scale public performance of a Wright airplane happened here in Arlington back in 1908? With its proximity to Washington and home to the Army’s Signal Corps Aeronautical Division, Arlington’s Fort Myer was a logical place to test the Wright brothers’ heavier-than-air flying machine.
