Here's a friendly reminder that three Colorado ski areas -- Loveland, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain -- will close on Sunday. After that, only Arapahoe Basin and Mary Jane will remain in operation. Loveland received 15 inches of snow this week. For backcountry skiers, Berthoud Pass received 17 inches, Jones Pass 15 and Loveland Pass 13.

Heads up

We should see a nice weather weekend for Denver metro with sunny skies. High temperatures should be in the mid-70s Friday and Saturday, with Sunday hitting the low 80s. High country locations near Denver should see highs in the 40s and low 50s.
