Welcome back to our School & Library Spotlight newsletter. Ahead of the ALA’s annual conference in Philadelphia later this week, we speak with incoming AASL president Amanda Kordeliski about the organization’s advocacy for the school library profession in the face of ongoing political threats. We highlight a new platform expanding students’ access to authors through digital classroom visits. And we also round up back-to-school books for fall.
We hope you'll spread the word about the School & Library Spotlight e-newsletter throughout your communities. Follow us on Twitter for more great stories, and join our LinkedIn group to be a part of the conversation.
