1 big thing: No casualties in Iranian retaliation

There were no reported casualties after Iran launched multiple missiles against an American military base in Qatar today, in retaliation for the U.S. strike on its nuclear facilities this weekend.

  • Iran notified Qatar about the attack ahead of time, giving the U.S. ally a chance to prepare and warn the Trump administration.

☎️ President Trump thanked Iran for giving "early notice" on its retaliatory missile attack, and he called for ending the war between Israel and Iran.

  • In a Truth Social post, Trump called the Iranian response "very weak" — suggesting he does not intend to retaliate and draw the U.S. further into the war, Axios' Barak Ravid writes.

⚡️ The latest: A total of 14 Iranian missiles were intercepted by Qatari air defenses, according to a source familiar with the matter.

  • One missile struck a building near the Al Udeid base, but there were no casualties and no damage inflicted to military infrastructure, the source said.
