It’s time to give Australian music its flowers! As part of their 50th birthday celebrations, triple j have launched the Hottest 100 of Australian Songs - a special edition countdown, dedicated to the homegrown artists and tracks that have resonated across generations, and helped define our nation’s sound.
Voting is now open, so head to the triple j website or app to vote for up to ten of your all-time favourite Australian songs. You can vote for ANY Aussie songs, from timeless classics to current day anthems, as long as they were released before 19 January 2025.
Choosing only ten songs can feel like an impossible task, so get inspired on the triple j website with picks from a bunch of local icons and presenters. Voting closes on Thursday 17 July, so don't leave it too late to build your shortlist.
The countdown kicks off on Saturday 26 July from 10am AEST. Be sure to mark it in your calendar - it's going to be one for the books! | | |
