Workshop: Claude 4.0
|
This month’s Plugin update brought big improvements to Workshop and the Plugin ecosystem. The highlight was Claude 4.0 support in Workshop. Anthropic’s most advanced AI model is now available for generating components, offering better creativity, reasoning, and code quality. Start generating.

Link Decoration Styles
|
We redesigned Framer’s Link Styles with full support for decoration properties, giving you complete control over how your links look and behave. There’s now a dedicated Decoration panel with settings for color, style, thickness, offset, and more. These brand new properties will work anywhere, from standalone text layers to inline links from the CMS. Together with recent linking updates like Rel Attributes and Parameter Forwarding, linking in Framer is now more powerful than ever. Watch the video.

Version History Updates
|
We’ve redesigned the Versions view—both on the Canvas and in Settings. Alongside a fresh new look, you can now see what changed in each published version. This makes it easier to compare updates. With Versions on the canvas, you can see how your site has evolved over time, and in settings, you can review changes and choose which version you’d like to deploy to your live site. Go back in time.

Plugin APIs: Context and Code
|
We’re introducing new Plugin APIs to make development more powerful and seamless. The new Context Menu APIs let you create consistent, native-feeling menus using Framer’s built-in system, whether in the plugin header or anywhere else in your interface. All plugins that handle authentication must now include a header menu with a logout option, so users can easily manage their accounts. We’re also launching the Code File APIs, which allow plugins to read, edit, and manage code files like Components and Overrides. Alongside them, the new Code Versions plugin lets users browse, preview, and restore previous versions of their code. You’ll find more details on our Updates Page.

Search for Pages, Layers, and Assets
|
You can now search your Pages, Layers, and Assets in Framer. This makes it much easier to find what you need, especially in larger projects. Find Folders, Pages, Components, Styles, Layers, and more. You can hit ESC to clear the filtered value at any point. Navigating big websites has never been easier. Discover more shortcuts here.
