The growth of our family has given me pause to reflect on their diversity and individual choices in life. Each and every member of this very special clan has a different mindset in job choices, living locales and religion.
Our children were raised to analyze choices in life and think for themselves. My mother is Catholic and my father Jewish. We were raised celebrating all the holidays. We lit the menorah on Hanukkah and decorated the tree for Santa. I looked forward to every celebration and raised our own children with that in mind.
