What a wonderful year it has been! As we close out the 2025-26 school year, we want to thank our students, families, and staff for making Olde Creek school such a special place to learn, grow, and belong. Together, we celebrated successes, overcame challenges, and created countless memories that will stay with us long after the final bell rings.

We wish all of our Bear families a safe, restful, and fun-filled summer. While school may be out, we will continue to communicate with families over the summer regarding class placements, staffing updates, and important information to help you prepare for the start of the new school year.

A reminder that school supply kit sales close this Sunday, June 21. If you would like to order a kit for next year, please be sure to do so before the deadline. (See down below for more information.)

Thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the year. We look forward to sharing our annual report next week, which will provide a reflection on all that we accomplished together this year. Have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you in August!

Sincerely,

Courtney Korb
Principal

Bears Leaving the Den

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Santos (SIA), who is retiring after 34 years (!!) of dedicated service, and to Mr. Chin (EAC Teacher), who will be completing his BCBA and pursuing opportunities in private practice. Mr. Gladstone (IA) will be joining another FCPS elementary school, Mr. Elkins (AP) will be serving students in a neighboring county, and Ms. Connolly (Special Education Teacher) will be relocating to Delaware with her family.

We also wish Dr. Sommer (psychologist), Ms. Seneca (social worker), and Ms. Quackenbush (PE) all the best as they move on from their part-time roles at Olde Creek.

Each of these staff members has contributed to our community in meaningful ways, and we are grateful for the care, support, and expertise they have shared with our students and families. We wish them happiness and success in their next chapters. Once a Bear, always a Bear!
