National folk artist Eric Dowdle to unveil Elgin puzzle and original artwork June 27

On June 27, Elgin will unveil a cityscape artwork by folk artist Eric Dowdle, created for the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Also, artist Alisa Duda's “Heart of Elgin” manhole covers will be installed as permanent public art celebrating downtown’s architecture and history.
