Hiya, folks!

I've spent the last two weekends camping, enjoying those coveted first-come, first-served campsites. I got lucky and was able to snag sites at Fulford Cave Campground and then Rainbow Lakes the next week. While I didn't go into the cave because I didn't secure a permit, it was very cool to watch a group descend into it to explore the underground maze as they called it.

Heads up

While today and Friday will hit triple digits, Saturday and Sunday will be much cooler in Denver with highs in the 80s and high 70s, respectively. As always, check the forecast before you hit the trails, as afternoon thunderstorms are in the forecast.

Plus, be aware of where wildfires are burning across the state because the burn areas have increased significantly the past few days.
