As Back-to-School season begins, lookout for 20 mph school zones and crossings. Arlington County finished updating all school zones in the County last spring. Now we’re doubling down with tactical speed humps and speed safety cameras.

• The County, in collaboration with APS, is accepting funding applications for after-school programming for secondary school youth. Applications are due by Aug. 17.
  
  
• Do you have questions about the Stormwater Utility Fee, the voluntary credit program, or the credit recertification process? There will be a Virtual Q&A Session on Aug. 20. 
  
  
• The application period is open for non-profits seeking Regional Grants to Disability Groups. Grant sizes vary by project.

Now It's a Party ...

If you are looking for some family-friendly fun, there will be plenty of it at the Arlington County Fair. The free, annual event will feature bounce houses, magic shows, and even foam parties. 

Remember: There is no parking at the fairgounds, so make sure to plan your transportation.
