A new public opinion poll shows a significant increase in support for Quebec independence among youth, The Gazette's Phil Authier reports.
A total of 56 per cent of Quebec youth aged 18 to 34 now favour sovereignty, according to the poll.
The issue roared back to life this summer, particularly on social media and stimulated by the Oui Québec group, which is trying to unite pro-independence youth regardless of their political stripes.
