Saint-Laurent MNA Marwah Rizqy returned to the National Assembly, saying she is at peace with the decisions made that led to her being dumped from the Quebec Liberal caucus.
Rizqy still faces a defamation lawsuit launched against her in December by Geneviève Hinse, her former chief of staff whom she fired Nov. 17. The dispute sparked a crisis in the Quebec Liberal Party, which eventually led to the resignation of leader Pablo Rodriguez in December.
It will be up to the new leader of party, likely Charles Milliard, to decide if she can re-enter the caucus, writes The Gazette's Philip Authier.
