I’m Liz Hampton, the editor for U.S. energy markets at Reuters. I’ve covered the oil and gas industry for over a decade, most recently focusing on oilfield service companies and the U.S. shale sector.  I came back to the markets team a year ago, but I keep a close eye on what’s happening in the shale patch – it’s all related! It’s a busy time in the oil industry as the market weighs on everything from the impact two ongoing wars will have on supply to how a shift to lower-carbon fuels will affect fossil fuel demand. We’re here to unpack it all.

It will offer analysis of what’s happening on the ground in the oil, natural gas, nuclear, biofuels, power and renewable sectors, and help people get a better hold on an industry that has been upended by the events of the last few years.
