trees

Despite rain, sleet, and snow all in one morning, students and staff at Bryant planted over 30 trees thanks to Casey Tree. Students learned about the types of trees being planted, how to plant them, and how to properly care for the newly planted trees. We look forward to watching them grow!

A Message from the Principal

Greetings Bryant Families!

As we approach the final week of the third quarter, I want to celebrate the incredible hard work our students have shown so far. This coming week is a vital time for our students to finalize their projects and complete performance-based assessments. To ensure every student has the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned, please remember that every day matters. Being in class on time is the best way for students to stay caught up and ensure all work is submitted before the quarter closes. Please note that students will be dismissed early at 12:45 PM on Friday, March 27, to mark the end of the quarter.

Spring break will take place from March 30 through April 6, and we want to ensure this is a true time of rest for our entire community. To support this, students will not be assigned homework over the break, and there will be no quizzes or projects due on April 7 or 8. We have also asked our dedicated staff to take this time to recharge; they will be back in the building and ready to assist you when school resumes on Tuesday, April 7.

The fourth quarter begins as soon as we return. While we know that the warmer weather can make the end of the school year feel close, this final stretch is where the year's hard work truly comes together. We ask for your continued partnership in encouraging your students to attend school on time every day so we can finish the year strong. We look forward to a fantastic final quarter!

Take Care!

Cindy Conley

Principal

Parent Acknowledgment of Course Requests for Next School Year

As the academic advising and course selection period draws to a close, we want to ensure all families feel confident about their child's educational path. A new feature in SIS ParentVUE allows parents and guardians to easily review and acknowledge their student's course requests for the 2026-27 school year. Please contact your student’s counselor for support or assistance. To access this feature:

  1. Log in to your ParentVUE account.
  2. Navigate to the Course Request module.
  3. Review your student’s course request list for next school year.
  1. To complete the acknowledgment, click Student Info in the left menu.
  2. Click Edit Information.
  3. In the Course Request Acknowledgment field, update the acknowledgment field to Yes.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Families have until Friday, March 27, to review and acknowledge course requests via this new feature.

Visit the FCPS SIS ParentVUE account overview webpage for more instructions and screenshots of this process.
