Nicholas Brendon, known for his role as Xander Harris on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” has died.

His "Buffy" co-stars Alyson Hannigan and Emma Caulfield were among those to pay tribute to him in online posts, after his family shared the news of his death on social media.

Hannigan wrote: “My Sweet Nicky, thank you for years of laughter, love and Dodgers. I will think of you every time I see a rocking chair. I love you. RIP."
