As we welcome the first weekend of spring, there’s a real sense of renewed energy around our school—longer days, warmer weather, and so many exciting opportunities for our students and families to connect. Spring is always a busy and joyful season, and our PTA has a full calendar ahead that reflects the spirit of our amazing school community.
In the coming weeks, we’re thrilled to offer a free afterschool soccer clinic for our 3rd and 4th graders, giving students a fun way to stay active and try something new.
Our Celebrate Great Falls Auction is also wrapping up soon—thank you to everyone who has already supported this important fundraiser, and don’t miss your chance to bid before it ends!
Spring also means memories in the making, and yearbook sales are underway so every child can take home a keepsake of this school year.

Free soccer clinic for 3rd and 4th Graders after school on Mondays until the end of the school year! The Forestville PTA in cooperation with Riverbend Futbol Club is proud to offer 8 days of professional instruction. Mondays on 20 APR, 27 APR, 4 MAY, 11 MAY, 18 MAY, 1 JUN, 8 JUN, and 15 JUN. The class works just like all PTA after school classes. Instructors will sign for the kids at 4pm and walk them to the soccer field. Parents pickup at 5:10pm. Slots are limited.
To sign up, fill out this form and email it to Tim@AGreatHomeVA.com. If you are among the first to Register, you'll receive confirmation of entry. Once all spots are full, you'll automatically be added to a Waitlist. All Waitlisted families will receive an email on FRI 10 APR.

For those families who joined the Cardinal Fund at the $150 level or more we have reserved a copy of the yearbook for you.
Lastly, the last day to submit photos to the yearbook staff for consideration is April 1st.
