Popular children's entertainer Rachel Accurso, known as Ms. Rachel, has become an increasingly prominent voice speaking out on behalf of vulnerable children across the world. Now she's on a new mission closer to home: freeing kids from ICE detention.

Accurso recently talked to two children being held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in South Texas, an experience she said was devastating. "It was unbelievably surreal to see this sweet little face and feel like I was on a call with somebody who's in jail," Accurso told NBC News. "It broke me, and it was something I never thought I'd encounter in life."
