Dear Justice Community,
We are now in full swing with IB testing, with May 7 and May 8 being our largest testing days of the year. Our students have worked so hard this year, and they should each have the experience to take their IB exams. Please ensure your student(s) sit for their scheduled IB Exam(s). Please see the IB Exam calendar below.
Next week we begin SOL testing by period. Attendance is critical throughout the month of May for all grade levels. Please ensure your student(s) attend regularly and on time. We're excited for our students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills they've learned throughout the year.
Thank you for your support in ensuring our students attend school every day this month and take all required exams.
Regards,
Sean Rolon, Ed.D.
Principal

Justice High School Auditorium - Driver’s Education
The state of Virginia requires students and their parents or legal guardians to attend ONE session of Partners for Safe Teen Driving in order to receive their Pink Card (DEC-8). The 90 minute session requires participants to be actively involved during the presentation. This is offered in conjunction with our 10th grade driver education curriculum and is a requirement. All sessions are in person for the 2025-2026 school year at Justice HS in the Auditorium. Registration link, and schedule is below. It is also posted on your 1oth grade teacher’s SCHOOLOGY PAGE.
The third PSTD meeting of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. This meeting has a hard 6:30 PM start in the Auditorium. Doors lock at 6:30 sharp and an entry after that will not be allowed. (State Law) Students and parents should plan to arrive at 6 pm to avoid being locked out.
All students MUST HAVE a have a legal guardian present with them. If attending PSTD session, please make sure you are registered with this Google Form.

Virtual therapy sessions are available to FCPS high school students at no cost to provide a safe space to address concerns such as:
- Mood/behavior changes, motivation, grief/loss.
- Anxiety, worry, fears.
- Social skills, bullying, peer and family relationships.
- Academic stress.
Students can be referred by a guardian or designated school staff member. You may refer your child by calling 571-749-2940 or by contacting an FCPS school counselor, social worker, psychologist, or director of Student Services. Visit the FCPS Teletherapy webpage for more information.
Your Child's Mental Wellness Matters: Access Comprehensive Services
Reach out to the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) for specialized youth mental health services designed to help your child succeed. The CSB has individual and family counseling, psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, parenting groups, peer support, crisis response, recovery supports that include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), intensive services, and other services.

Additional Mental Health Resources
FCPS has resources available to support your child’s mental health. During after-school hours, parents and students who need additional support can use the 988 Lifeline to get free, confidential guidance from trained crisis counselors on how to best help someone experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. You can call or text the number.
Recent reports have shared an 11% drop in suicides among young people since the rollout of 988. Please note, the hotline is not only for those experiencing suicidal ideation (or thoughts), it is also available for any mental health or substance abuse-related crisis and those with a loved one experiencing those crises or suicidal thoughts.
And as always, if your concern is an emergency, you should call 911.
