 Continuum of Care Membership Meeting

In this virtual meeting of the Continuum of Care (CoC) Membership, the Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) will present the results of the 2026 Point-in-Time Count as well as provide an update on CoC Funding. OPEH also invites members to present on new projects or current successes during the membership meeting.

Continuum of Care Board Meeting
The Continuum of Care (CoC) Board was developed to provide leadership in preventing and ending homelessness in the Fairfax-Falls Church community. The CoC Board acts on behalf of the "Continuum of Care", which is a partnership of representatives from organizations in the Fairfax-Falls Church community with an interest and role in serving people experiencing, or at-risk of, homelessness. The next Fairfax County Continuum of Care Board meeting will be held on May 27, 2026 at the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority located at 3700 Pender Drive, Fairfax, VA in Room 102 starting at 7:00pm.

 The Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) is excited to announce that all available trainings are now on the Learning Management System (LMS). The OPEH training portal will still be available to see what is being offered, look up materials, presentations, and recordings from previous trainings, and the HOME page has instructions on how to activate your new LMS account and register for trainings in the LMS. Upcoming trainings that are currently being offered by OPEH: MANDT 3.0, Adult Protective Services Mandated Reporting, Child Abuse & Neglect-Mandated Reporting, Working with Veterans, Trauma Informed Care and De-escalation Techniques, Harm Reduction and Low Barrier Homeless Services, From Services to Community, Holding Complexity: Trauma-Response Practice in Real Settings, Autonomy and Dignity in Homeless Response, Preventing Burnout, Motivational Interviewing for Housing Stability, and Housing Problem Solving.

We are asking for a few volunteers to present during the upcoming Continuum of Care Membership Meetings the first of which will be held virtually on 06/10/2026 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am.
