From 11 May 2026, Version 14.1 of the N2/N3 IVA Inspection Manual will be effective.
This is a minor revision, with key updates including:

Emissions (Section 02) Note 1 revised to clarify alternative compliance routes

Installation of Lights (Section 20) Improved format of Figures 4 and 4a. New Figure 6 added to illustrate manoeuvring lamp visibility.

Retro Reflectors (Section 21) Clarified positional allowance for red rearmost side retro‑reflectors within Table 1.

Headlamps (Section 25) Maximum installation height updated to include N3G vehicles.

Reversing Lamps (Section 29) Method of Inspection and Required Standards wording revised. Manoeuvring lamps added to section.
