Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy Sarah Rogers will travel to Belgrade and Venice on May 6-12.  In Belgrade, Under Secretary Rogers will sign a Participation Agreement formalizing the United States’ participation in Expo 2027.  Expos are an opportunity to engage and inspire global audiences, promote U.S. economic and commercial interests, and highlight American excellence.  The Under Secretary will also meet with members of the Serbian government to discuss our shared priorities in the Western Balkans.

While travelling, Under Secretary Rogers will visit the 61st Venice Art Biennale to celebrate the opening of the 2026 U.S. Pavilion exhibition “Alma Allen: Call Me the Breeze.”
