So, some news.
There are several primaries coming up in May. Trump and his people have been hand-selecting people to run against candidates they detest, local and nationwide candidates. He has been inviting his picks (great analysis and video from the NY Times here) to come to the Oval Office and take photos with him to use in their campaigns. He is preying on ambitious men and women, excited to be called to the Oval Office by the president, who perhaps have not been in government before (I don’t now that, but he’s done that before…in fact just look at his administration, starting with Pete Hegseth). It’s a false and dangerous game he’s playing, trying to prop people up in an election. It might not work.
Politico reports that on Tuesday. there is a primary for state legislators in Indiana: Trump wants to oust 8 Republican state legislators who blocked his redistricting effort there. Then on to Louisiana and Kentucky, where he’s backing challengers to two longtime enemies, Sen. Bill Cassidy and Rep. Thomas Massie (the man who spear-headed the Epstein Files Transparency Act with Rep Khana). Trump has also selected his favorite candidates in the crowded GOP primaries for Alabama Senate and Georgia governor. Stay tuned.
“The [Trump] endorsement just isn’t moving voters. It just isn’t,” said a GOP operative working on the Alabama Senate race who was granted anonymity to speak candidly. “When you’ve endorsed more than 800 people in 10 years, the potency of an individual endorsement wanes.”
Epstein: In April 2026 Marjorie Taylor Green made an appearance at the Ron Paul Institute, and spoke about a private conversation that damns Trump even further concerning the Epstein Files. Aaron Parnas and the International Business Times shared a video of former House member Marjorie Taylor Greene revealing a phone call with Trump before she left government.
Greene: Trump said his friends would get hurt if we release the Epstein files. He said, “Marjorie, these are good people. These are people you know at Mar-a-Lago. People in Palm Beach—they’re going to get hurt by this.”
And I said, “Mr. President, people have been hurt. These women have been hurt. Have you talked to them? You should talk to them. You should have them in the Oval Office, Mr. President. You have everybody in the Oval Office—you have sports teams, you have world leaders, you have al-Qaeda terrorists that are now leading Syria, you have Mamdani. I mean, you have everybody in the Oval Office. Surely, you can have these women. Talk to them. I talk to them all the time. As a matter of fact, many of them voted for you.”
That’s what I told him—they voted for you. Epstein victims voted for Donald Trump, and he wouldn’t have anything to do with them. And he told me his friends would get hurt. And I said, “I’m not taking my name off the discharge petition.”
