The Liberty Ledger
It's Teacher Appreciation Week! Here is a moment of support in Mr. Hanrahan’s classroom, just one example of the care our teachers bring each day.
One of the things I continue to enjoy most about Liberty is spending time in classrooms and seeing your children engaged in their learning. From thoughtful discussions to collaborative work, it’s clear our students are doing meaningful and important work each day.
I encourage you to take a moment this week to ask your child about their experience with PoG PoL (Portrait of a Graduate Presentations of Learning) and what they’ve been working on recently. These conversations are a great way to stay connected to their learning and celebrate their growth.
As I continue getting to know the Liberty community, I’m hoping to hear from more of our families. If you haven’t already, please take a minute to complete the Family Feedback Form. It truly only takes a minute, and your input will directly help shape our priorities and next steps as a school.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for sharing your children with us each day. I am grateful to be part of the Liberty community.

Information About Retakes
Middle school students who do not pass a spring SOL test can try again before the school year ends. A parent or guardian must give permission for any student to take a retest. The deadline to submit this permission is May 15.
If you choose not to allow a retest, it will not hurt your student's grade or school record.
If you want your student to have a second chance to take the test, please sign up using the Parent Digital Consent website. You will use your SIS ParentVUE login for this. If you do not have an account, contact Amber Wickstrom for a paper copy of the form.

If you have questions, please contact Amber Wickstrom, the School Testing Coordinator.
