Costco Wholesale Membership Update
I meant to reply earlier, but I finally tried that route you suggested through the park and it was a much better walk than the main road.
I took a light jacket at first and ended up carrying it most of the time because the air felt warmer once the sun came out.
The best part was how quiet everything got after I passed the tennis courts, and I actually noticed birds I usually miss when I rush through.
I also brought that little notebook with me and jotted down two ideas before I forgot them, which felt surprisingly productive for an ordinary afternoon.
When I got back, I made tea, opened the windows, and let the place air out for a bit.
It turned into one of those small reset days where nothing dramatic happens, but everything feels a little more manageable by evening. I think I needed that more than I realized.

Thank you for choosing Costco Wholesale.
I did end up starting that bookshelf project, and it was less complicated once I stopped trying to do every step in one afternoon.
I sorted everything into three stacks first, which made the room look disastrous for about an hour, but then the order started to make sense.
One shelf is novels, one is all the oversized art books, and one is just random things I like seeing together even if they do not belong in any sensible category.
I found an old folding map tucked inside a dictionary and spent way too long tracing streets I barely remember visiting.
After that I put on some music, wiped everything down, and moved the chair closer to the window so the corner actually feels usable now.
I am still deciding what should go on the top shelf, but overall it finally feels settled instead of temporary. That alone made the whole effort worth it.
