It’s never too late to start running - here’s how to do it safely.


The buzz from the London Marathon is still in the air - whether you watched, volunteered, or thought “could I do that one day?”
If you’re in your 40s or 50s, that thought often comes with a second one: “Is it too late for me?”
Not everyone wants to run 26.2 miles.
Maybe you’ve been thinking about getting a bit fitter, enjoying the outdoors more, or simply seeing if running could work for you.
For a number of people, stiff joints, old injuries, or just not knowing where to start can make running feel out of reach. But the truth is, it’s not about age - it’s about how you start.
