I
recently decided to streamline my expenses.
At first, it was
the easy stuff. Little subscriptions I no longer use. Things I realized I
didn't really need.
Then I started looking at the bigger
expenses.
My car was one of them.
Now, I absolutely
loved my Mercedes convertible. Silver on the outside, black and red on the
inside. Driving with the top down made me genuinely happy.
But if I was serious about becoming more intentional with my money, I
had to look at the bigger picture.
And something interesting
happened.
Instead of focusing on what I was
“losing,” I shifted my energy toward what I actually wanted
next.
I got clear. I got excited. I focused on possibility instead of sacrifice.
And
that energy completely changed the experience. Based on my research and
budget, I concluded I would need to buy a used or CPO (Certified Pre-Owned)
Car. I explained to the car salesman what I was looking for and the budget
I had, and I was incredibly surprised. They just 'happened' to have a
special on a car that ticked all my boxes.
Miraculously, I
walked away with a brand new Mercedes GLC 300 with all the upgrades I
wanted. Beautiful sunroof, incredible features, and honestly… I love
it even more.
It reminded me that financial wellness is never
just about numbers.
It's emotional. It's
energetic. It's deeply connected to how empowered we feel in
our lives.
And let me be clear… this is not about
pretending financial stress doesn't exist or “thinking
positive” your way out of real challenges.
Sometimes life
does feel overwhelming.
But even during difficult seasons, we
can still calm the nervous system, reconnect to our power, and stop fear
from completely taking over our identity.
Which is why this
caught my attention. My friend Craig Armstrong recently shared something
with me about how a single word can begin to shift the way we think, feel,
and respond to money.
I know that sounds a little out there.
But the science behind it is fascinating, and honestly, in times like
these, I think we should stay open to anything that helps us feel more
empowered, grounded, and supported financially.
Craig put
together a short presentation explaining how it works and why so many
people are talking about it right now. So if you're looking for a different
perspective on money, abundance, and creating more ease in your life, it's
definitely worth taking a look.

Repeat this affirmation anytime
you find yourself feeling stressed, restricted, or emotional about money
decisions. Say it in the morning before checking emails or bills, while
driving, or whenever you're making financial choices big or small.
"I am aligned with abundance. Every decision I make supports my
freedom, peace, and prosperity."
The key is to say it from
a place of empowerment rather than fear. Let it remind you that simplifying
or shifting things in your life does not mean losing abundance. It can
actually create more space for it.
