Hey, thanks for the recommendation on that mystery novel. I finally finished it last night and really enjoyed the plot twists. The characters were well-developed and the setting was atmospheric. I thought the ending was satisfying even though I guessed part of it. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Have you read anything else by that author? I tried that new recipe for pasta from scratch last weekend. It turned out better than I expected, even though I messed up the dough a bit. The sauce was simple but flavorful. I used fresh tomatoes from the garden and added some basil. It took a couple of hours but it was worth it. Next time I might try adding mushrooms or something. Have you cooked anything interesting lately? I also went for a hike on Sunday at the state park. The trail was pretty muddy but the views from the top were amazing. Saw a deer and some birds. It was a good way to clear my head after a busy week. Maybe we can plan a trip together soon. Let me know what you think.
