I finally got around to trying that new recipe you sent me last week. It turned out even better than I expected. I made a few adjustments because I didn't have all the ingredients but it still worked great. The kids loved it which is always a win in my book. I added a bit more seasoning than what the recipe called for and it gave it a nice kick. Next time I might try it with chicken instead of beef just to see how it compares. Let me know if you have any other good ones. I'm trying to cook more at home these days and building up my recipe collection. It's been a nice change of pace from the usual takeout routine. I think we should plan that weekend trip we keep talking about. The weather has been so nice lately and it feels like we've been putting it off for too long. I was looking at some cabins up north and there are a few that look perfect for what we want. Nothing too fancy just a place to relax and maybe do some hiking. Let me know what dates work for you and we can figure it out from there. We could even make it a regular thing if we enjoy it. It would be nice to have something to look forward to during the week.
