Nurses Week 2026 The Heart of Veteran Care |
This year, in honor of Nurses Week, we celebrate the dedicated professionals who make compassionate care possible every day. We would like to extend a special thank you to our incredible nursing staff. From those serving in our Medical Foster Home Program to our Med-Surg and dialysis teams, and every service in between, our nurses provide exceptional care with compassion, professionalism, and heart. They are often the first to offer comfort, encouragement, and reassurance during difficult moments, and their impact on the lives of Veterans and their families is truly immeasurable.
Nursing is more than a profession, it is a calling rooted in service, grace, and dedication. Whether at the bedside, coordinating care, supporting recovery, or simply offering a listening ear, our nurses consistently go above and beyond to ensure every Veteran feels cared for and respected. We are deeply grateful for their hard work, kindness, and unwavering commitment to our facility each and every day.
To all our nurses, thank you for the difference you make in the lives of so many.
