I did something different. I made a documentary.

somewhere between Alberta and the rest of my life.

For the last two weeks I drove my Tesla into oil country to ask if EV drivers really get hated in Alberta. I expected to come home with a fight. I came home with something stranger.

The pilot is up now. It's called Do Cowboys Dream of Electric Horses? Twenty-five minutes, no fluff, real people who stopped to talk to me at superchargers. Some agreed with me. Some told me I was an idiot. The talking is the whole point.

The channel is called Piper Unplugged. It's a different room than the one we usually meet in. But while I'm out there asking cowboys about EVs at superchargers, I'm also shooting for you. Empty roads. Strange motels. The trips are giving me more material than I've shot in months, and the door at piperblush.com isn't going anywhere. What's coming through it just got a lot more interesting.
