I saw your message about the office potluck next Friday. I think it's a great idea to have everyone bring a dish that represents something from their heritage or a favorite family recipe. I can bring my grandmother's pasta salad, it's always a hit. We'll need to coordinate with the kitchen for refrigerator space and maybe set up a sign-up sheet so we don't end up with thirty dessert items. I can also bring some disposable plates and cutlery if no one else has that covered. Let me know if you want me to help with the decorations or table layout. I was thinking we could do a small centerpiece on each table, maybe just some seasonal flowers from the grocery store. Also, we should decide on a start time. 11:30 works well for most people since it's before the lunch rush. I'll check with maintenance to ensure the tables are set up properly. Let's aim for a relaxed vibe and encourage everyone to mingle. I'll send a reminder to the team early next week so we have a good turnout. Thanks for organizing this.

Your question about the hiking trail for Saturday morning — I checked the weather and it looks perfect, not too hot. I think we should start at the Willow Creek entrance and take the loop that goes past the old fire tower. It’s about 4 miles with some moderate elevation but nothing too strenuous. I packed a light lunch already, mostly sandwiches and granola bars. Could you bring extra water? I only have two bottles. Also, I reserved a parking spot in the lot near the ranger station so we don’t have to walk far from the car. I’ll bring my map and a compass just in case cell signal is weak. If we finish early, we could stop at that deli on the way back for a quick bite. Let me know if 6:30 AM is too early for you; I can adjust. I’m looking forward to it — it’s been a while since we did a proper hike together. Also, remind me to bring sunscreen and a hat. See you then.
