I think the best approach for the community garden layout is to use raised beds this season. The soil in the back corner needs significant amendment, and raised beds would give us better control over drainage and nutrient density. I was looking at the plans for the shed, and if we position it along the north fence line, it will cast minimal shade on the tomatoes and peppers. We should also consider a gravel base for the pathway to reduce mud. I can pick up the lumber and hardware this weekend if that works for everyone. Let me know what you think about the bed dimensions and layout.

Regarding the project timeline I reviewed the draft and made some adjustments to the milestones. The initial phase should realistically take about three weeks instead of two given the current team availability and the complexity of the site integration. I moved the user testing phase to start earlier in cycle two so we have ample buffer for revisions. The budget for engineering hours looks sufficient but I allocated a small reserve for unexpected edge cases. I will send out the updated schedule this afternoon for review.
