Yeah, I tried that new ramen place down on 5th. Honestly, the broth was a bit too salty for my taste, but the chashu pork was incredible. My wife ordered the spicy miso and she loved it. We also shared some gyoza, which were perfectly crispy on the bottom. yjFMQYjzcY The service took forever though – we waited almost 25 minutes just to get our appetizers. Not sure if we'll go back soon, but the atmosphere was neat with all the lanterns and wooden tables. Maybe it's better on a weeknight.

I ended up watching that documentary everyone's been talking about. It was pretty eye-opening, especially the part about the early experiments. I'd recommend it if you have two hours to spare. We made popcorn halfway through and then paused to rewind a scene my partner missed. The soundtrack was surprisingly good too.
