Hey, I saw your note about the garden project — that sounds like a lot of fun honestly.
We just finished repotting a few of our indoor plants and it was way more work than I expected.
My sister came over to help and she kept getting dirt everywhere but it was a good time.
I think we ended up using way too much soil but the plants seem happy so whatever.
Have you tried that new coffee shop on the corner by the library? I went there last week and the cold brew was solid.
Not too bitter which is usually my problem with most places.
Anyway let me know if you want to borrow that book I mentioned — I finished it and it was pretty good.

Oh I totally forgot to ask — how did your hiking trip go last weekend?
We were thinking about heading up to the trailhead but the weather looked iffy on Saturday.
Ended up just staying home and making a big pot of chili instead which was honestly perfect.
My dog was thrilled because he got all the little bits of beef I dropped on the floor.
I keep meaning to get a new hiking pack but mine still works fine so I keep putting it off.
Do you ever do that — just keep using something even though it's kinda falling apart?

I know a spot that does a really good turkey club and their fries are actually crispy.
