Hi Joan,

Thanks for the note about the community garden plot. I checked with the coordinator and the soil prep is scheduled for next Saturday morning, so we can start planting right after. We’ll need to bring our own trowels and gloves. Also, I’ll pick up the seedlings from the nursery on Friday. Let me know if you want to carpool.

Regarding the watering schedule, we’re rotating every other day with the Johnson family. I’ll set up a shared calendar invite so everyone sees it. The only tricky part is the drip line near the tomatoes – it tends to clog, so we should flush it weekly.

Hey, thanks for checking in on the book club schedule. I think the next meeting should be on the last Thursday of the month instead of the third. That way we avoid conflicting with the local music festival. Also, we need to decide on the book. I was leaning toward something non‑fiction, maybe about urban planning, but several members want a mystery. Could you send out a quick poll?

Also, I reserved the community room at the library for the 28th. It holds about 20 people, so we should be fine. Let me know if you need help setting up chairs. I’ll bring snacks again – maybe those cheese straws everyone liked.
