Oh hey I totally forgot to mention — we finally got the new patio furniture set up last weekend and it looks incredible. The weather has been perfect for sitting outside with a cold drink and just relaxing. Hannah brought over that dip she always makes and we ended up staying out there until almost midnight just chatting and watching the stars. I tried to replicate her recipe last night and it came out okay but definitely not as good as hers. She said the secret is letting the cream cheese soften for at least an hour before mixing but I got impatient. Anyway we should plan something soon maybe a casual hangout nothing fancy just good company. Let me know what you think. I also picked up a new board game that supposedly takes only twenty minutes per round so that could be fun for a weeknight. No pressure though. Hope you are doing well on your end.

Also I finally started organizing the garage like we talked about. Found a bunch of old camping gear that just needs a little love to be usable again. The tent poles are all there which is honestly a miracle. Might test it out in the backyard first before committing to a real trip. Let me know if you want to join for a test run. Could be a laugh.

I was looking through those old photos you sent me and I cannot believe how much things have changed in just a few years. The dog in that one picture looks exactly like my neighbor's new puppy except she has floppier ears and a white patch on her chest. Speaking of neighbors mine just got a new grill and the smell of burgers is basically a daily occurrence now. It is equal parts wonderful and torture. I should probably just go over and introduce myself properly instead of just waving from the driveway. Anyway I started reading that book you recommended and I am about halfway through. The writing style took me a minute to get used to but now I am hooked. The main character reminds me of someone we used to work with actually. I will finish it this week and we can talk about it soon. Hope you are having a good week.

Oh and I finally tried that new coffee shop on the corner near the park. They have a honey lavender latte that is surprisingly good and not too sweet. The place has a nice vibe lots of natural light and they play vinyl records in the background. It was pretty quiet when I went on Tuesday morning so good spot if you need to focus on something.
