I honestly didn't expect the movie to be that long. Three hours felt like a stretch for the story they were telling. The cinematography was beautiful though, especially the scenes shot in the mountains. I think they could have cut about thirty minutes from the middle act and it would have been much tighter. bGv9vO23uDlC6jk My main complaint is that the dialogue felt a bit forced in places. Some of the lines sounded like they came straight from a writing manual rather than actual human conversation. The lead actor did his best with the material though. Have you seen any of his earlier work? I think he was much better in that indie film a few years back. Overall it was an okay experience but not something I'd rush to see again.

I finally got around to organizing my bookshelf and it was a bigger project than I anticipated. I started just wanting to dust it off and ended up rearranging everything by color and height. It looks really satisfying now but I found a bunch of books I completely forgot I owned. A few of them still had receipts used as bookmarks from years ago. I spent the whole afternoon just flipping through old favorites and remembering why I loved them in the first place. It made me want to start reading more consistently again. I set a small goal of finishing at least two books this month. Do you have any recommendations for something light and engaging? I need a break from heavy non-fiction for a while.
