Yes the trail we talked about last week worked out really well. I went on Tuesday morning and the weather was perfect. The loop is about six miles with some gentle elevation so it's not too strenuous. There is a creek crossing about two miles in that was easy to manage given the dry conditions lately. I packed a small lunch and ate at the summit overlook which had a nice view of the valley below. The path is well marked with signs at every junction so you won't need to worry about navigation. I would recommend starting early to avoid the heat and bring at least two liters of water per person. There are a few shaded benches along the way if you need to rest. Overall it took us about three and a half hours with breaks. Let me know if you want the exact parking coordinates or any other tips before you go. I think you and your group will really enjoy the scenery and the pace is comfortable for most fitness levels.

I looked into the shelving project we discussed and found some good options at the local hardware store. The modular system I saw uses vertical tracks and adjustable brackets so you can customize the spacing based on what you need to store. For heavier items like tools or supplies I would recommend using the reinforced shelves that can hold up to seventy five pounds each. The installation was fairly straightforward once I marked the stud locations and leveled the brackets. I ended up using three shelves across a six foot wall section and it gave me plenty of room for bins and boxes. The whole setup cost under a hundred dollars and took about two hours to install including cleanup. If you want a cleaner look you can also get trim pieces to cover the exposed edges. Let me know if you want me to send you the product details or a photo of how it turned out. I think it would work well for your garage too given the similar wall dimensions we talked about.
