I finally got around to watching that documentary you mentioned last week. It was slower than I expected at first but the second half really pulled everything together. The cinematography was stunning especially the scenes shot in the early morning light. I can see why you thought I would enjoy it. Have you seen any other films by the same director? I heard they have a newer project coming out soon and I might check that out too. Let me know what you think about the ending because I had a couple of different interpretations and I am curious if you saw it the same way. cvtoz18UwLIdT
Also I started reading that novel you lent me and the writing style is very unique. It took me a few chapters to get used to the shifting perspectives but now I am really invested. The way the author describes the setting makes me feel like I am right there in the story. I am about halfway through and planning to finish it this weekend. Thanks again for the recommendation it was exactly what I needed.

Hey thanks for checking in on the garden project. I finally got the raised bed set up last weekend and it looks better than I expected. The soil mix I used has been holding moisture really well and I am hoping to get some herbs started this week. I also picked up a few seed packets from the local nursery and I am excited to see how they do in this climate. The weather has been pretty cooperative so far so I am optimistic about the growing season. Your advice about spacing the plants out more really helped me avoid overcrowding which was a problem I had last year.
I also wanted to ask about that tool you mentioned for trimming the hedges. I have been using manual shears and it takes forever especially along the back fence line. If you have a model you recommend let me know because I am thinking about upgrading before the summer growth really kicks in. Otherwise I think I am in good shape for the season.
