We finally made it to that new bookstore downtown and I was blown away by their selection. They had a whole corner dedicated to local authors and regional history. I picked up a couple of novels that the owner personally recommended. The ambiance is really cozy, with lots of natural light and comfortable seating areas. I could easily spend an entire afternoon there just browsing. They also have a small coffee bar in the back. I tried their chai latte and it was perfectly spiced. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend checking it out. It's right next to the old movie theater. We're probably going to go back again next Saturday for a reading event they're hosting.
