On May 28, 2026, Honduras enacted Decree No. 73-2026 to facilitate the repatriation of Honduran nationals and their families. The law aims to protect the assets of returning nationals and support their socioeconomic reintegration by granting tax exemptions on imports, and by simplifying the procedures to bring in household and work items.
