Today, August 7, 2026, the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Treasury (collectively, the Departments), along with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), released the Federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Operations Final Rules Implementation Timeline Guide for Certified IDR Entities and Disputing Parties. This guidance provides important details regarding the applicability dates of certain provisions associated with the Federal IDR Operations final rules, including the recently released stand-alone claim adjustment reason codes (CARCs) and remittance advice remark codes (RARCs) guidance.
