President Trump named nine federal judicial nominees this week. With Senate control potentially up for grabs after the November midterms, confirmations may be pushed into the lame-duck session, raising the stakes for Trump's effort to reshape the federal bench.

Here's who he picked:

Zach West (N.D. Oklahoma)

Oklahoma special litigation chief who backed the push for the nation’s first taxpayer-funded religious charter school.

Kyle Reardon (D. Alaska)

U.S. magistrate judge nominated to fill a seat vacated after the resignation of a Trump-appointed judge amid a misconduct scandal.

Trevor Pemberton (E.D. Oklahoma)

Former state appellate judge and general counsel to Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt.

Courtney Coker (N.D. Texas)

A federal prosecutor.

Richard Bennett (S.D. Texas)

U.S. magistrate judge and former ICE lawyer.

Brad Kelley (E.D. Louisiana)

A partner at Littler Mendelson.

Peter Mansfield (E.D. Louisiana)

An assistant U.S. attorney.

Daniel Ballou (E.D. Kentucky)

A Kentucky state court judge.

Robert Long (M.D. Florida)

A judge on Florida’s First District Court of Appeal.
